    Ways to Make as Difference in Content Area Teaching and Learning

    Open to all conferees interested in research-based effective ways of improving

    K-12 students reading comprehension of content areas materials.

    Session: 2 3/4 hour workshop; will be presented on Tuesday, May 6, 2003.

    Participants will learn and practice strategies that facilitate the comprehension of content area materials that are read, listened to, and/or accessed through technology. After the keynote speaker, those attending may choose to participate in two of the concurrent, roundtable sessions.
